JOIN DELTA CHI

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about The Delta Chi Fraternity. Becoming a member and contributing your time and talents to our brotherhood may be the best decision you make while in college, and we applaud your efforts to make the most informed decision.

Since its founding in 1890 at Cornell University, Delta Chi has grown to more than 126 chapters and colonies across North America and has initiated more than 95,000 men. You may find information here that you hadn't thought about when considering which fraternity is right for you, and you want quality information to make an educated decision.

EXPECTATIONS OF AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Each member of Delta Chi must understand and support the three-fold obligation of membership:

University Excellence

• Minimum 2.5 GPA (2.8 high school GPA if you have no college credit)
• Involvement in extracurricular activity, clubs, or academic societies

Financial Accountability

• Associate Member dues consisting of insurance fees and costs for badge, cornerstone, and miscelaneous expenses are paid in a timely manner
• The Chapter sets aside brother dues for savings, social events, risk management insurance, and other events and expenses

Values-based Actions

• Being a member of a Delta Chi means that your actions reflect on others
• Social and fraternity events follow Delta Chi’s risk management policy
